Gui Cavalcante, MBA
CEO & Co-founder
Guilherme (Gui) Cavalcante is the CEO and co-founder of Mind Hous. Born and raised in Brazil in a context of limited opportunities, his journey is marked by entrepreneurship, resilience, and a passion for helping other businesses grow.
Gui graduated from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, one of the best private universities in Latin America, and holds an MBA in Digital Business from the University of São Paulo, the best public university in Brazil. With experience in companies of all sizes, from startups to large corporations, Gui stood out at Banco Santander, where he managed the creation and implementation of marketing materials for over 3,000 retail locations across Brazil.
Throughout his career, Gui has received various recognitions, from academic awards for his thesis work to innovations in the banking sector. At Mind Hous, in addition to leading the company, he maintains close contact with clients, ensuring that each project is executed with excellence and aligned with their strategic needs.
Heath Hughes, MA, MBA
COO & Co-Founder
Heath Hughes is a business leader passionate about driving growth and innovation in startups, small businesses, and healthcare organizations. With a career marked by strategic roles across different industries, he believes in the power of transformation and sustainable growth.
Heath has held leadership roles in startups and established companies, helping businesses achieve operational excellence and ambitious growth goals. He led regional business development and operations for a Fortune 5 company, managing a multi-million-dollar P&L, expanding the provider network by 300%, and improving employee engagement from 23rd to 1st place among 23 regions.
Heath was also at the forefront of commercial expansion for the fastest-growing private company in the U.S., which experienced a 31,000% revenue increase in four years, reaching $300 million. Additionally, he implemented the go-to-market strategy for the first virtual brain health and memory clinic in the United States and played a key role in growing a healthcare startup to over $10 million in annual revenue, achieving a 10,000% growth rate.
His contributions to the public sector were also significant, having been twice appointed to the Ohio Advisory Council for Aging, where he served for eight years. He also received the 40 Under 40 award and was nominated for Small Business Leader of the Year.
